Is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States. The GRE is owned and administered by Educational Testing Service.

There are two types of GRE test such as GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test. In short those who want to study higher education in abroad need to take GRE General Test and those who want to study PhD or MS and planning to shift the field of study, need to take GRE Subject Test. The GRE Test is available at more than 1,000 test centers in more than 150 countries.

The total GRE Score is 340 and is scale between 130 to 170. Financial aid is provided to GRE applicants who prove economic hardship. A student can take the GRE on time in every 21 days, but a student cannot take the GRE more than five times in 12 months.
